Metered parking is also available on the streets around the courthouse. Do not park in handicapped (blue meters) or restricted zones unless you have a permit to do so. Absence/Emergency: If an illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at (607) 737-2838 at 9:00 a.m. on the day you are to report. For weather emergencies, listen to your local radio stations, WLEZ (92.7 FM), WLVY (94.7 FM), WINK (106.1 FM), WPGI(100.9 FM). Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court Security: Magnetometers are in place in the courthouse and jurors are not exempted from the screening process. Weapons or dangerous instruments of any kind are prohibited in court buildings. Your cooperation and patience is appreciated in this effort to keep our facilities safe. Meals: There are restaurants and fast food establishments within a two or three block radius. You are free to bring your own lunch. No food or drink is allowed in the courtrooms. Verification of Attendance: An attendance verification form is available to all jurors and is required by most employers for payroll records.
