Personal Statement |
- I have been a County Court Judge since 1/1/1999, presently an Acting Supreme Court Justice since 1/1/2006 where I handle a civil docket including torts, municipal law, contracts, real estate and Mental Hygiene. I served in Family Court for 6 years handling child neglect and abuse, custody, adoption, Family & Juvenile Drug Court, domestic violence and child support where my direct efforts resulted in the collection of over $2,000,000 in child suppor arrearst. My tenure as a District Judge included civil, criminal, small claims and landlord-tenant. In private practice, I served as a volunteer small claims arbitrator, on the compulsory arbitration panel, the 18-b Defense Panel and the Pro Bono Bankruptcy Panel. I have been happily married for 23 years and have 3 beautiful daughters. I am both a Mason and a Lion and a volunteer for and director of Jacob's Light Foundation. I am steadfastly committed to faithfully serving the public, dedicated to the principle that the rule of law is paramount and that all persons have the right to have their disputes dealt with fairly, expeditiously and impartially.
