Personal Statement |
- During my 20 years on the Bench, I have adjudicated over 30,000 misdemeanor criminal cases as a Buffalo City Court Judge, over 2000 felony criminal cases as an Erie County Court Judge, hundreds of appeals from the local courts and other civil matters.
In addition to my regular calendar, I have presided over the Erie County Felony Domestic Violence Court since 2004 and the litigation ocassioned by the City of Buffalo In Rem Tax Foreclosure Sales since 2006.
My extensive community involvement gives me a unique insight into the concerns of the residents of Erie County. In order to increase public understanding of the criminal justice system, I regularly speak to community groups.
I am active with the ABA Judicial Division which allows me to network with and exchange ideas with judges from across the country, and bring new programs to our courts and community.
I have spent my entire judicial career working hard to serve all of the people of Erie County to the best of my ability and in accordance with the Law and the high principles of justice and fairness. I am seeking re-election in order to have the opportunity to continue to serve the residents of Erie County.
