Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- As a Judge for the past 24 years, I have experience in all types of legal matters including personal injury, commercial, matrimonial and criminal cases, and have published more than 100 individual opinions, separate from my Appellate Term work. I have lectured on various legal subjects and have worked closely with students from all the local N.Y.C. law schools. My own law school experience includes serving as a member of the law review editorial board and receiving several awards. I am married to Donna L. Schoenfeld, formerly a public school teacher. We have two boys and a daughter-in-law. They are all attorneys. I look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of New York State as a Supreme Court Justice.
