- District Court Judge Paul Hensley has an outstanding record of handling a tremendous volume of criminal and civil cases as an attorney in private practice, public prosecutor and District Court Judge. Judge Hensley has 22 years of legal experience, the last six and one half years as a judge. He has been named as an acting County Court Judge and has presided in the Suffolk County Drug Court as well as the Suffolk County Mental Health Court. After graduating SUNY at Buffalo Law School in 1986,he served as an Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County. He has served as a Special Assistant Huntington Town Attorney and a Principal Law Clerk in both the Suffolk County Court and in the New York State Supreme Court. He has been found Qualified by the Suffolk County Bar Association, their highest rating. Judge Hensley has also been found Qualified by the Independent Judicial Election Qualfication Commissions,their highest rating. As a District Court Judge from the Town of Huntington Judge Hensley is known for being tough, yet fair and compassionate. Judge Hensley is married to Frances Radman for the last 18 years and lives in Northport with their daughters Victoria and Elizabeth.
