Personal Statement |
- From 1984 through 1989, I was engaged in the private practice of law as a trial attorney. In 1989, I became the law clerk for the Honorable Jerome C. Gorski and for 13 years, assisted Justice Gorski by drafting thousands of decisions and settling thousands of Supreme Court cases including civil, criminal, matrimonial, commercial and real property cases. In 2001, Justice Gorski was appointed to the Appellate Division, 4th Department. As his appellate division law clerk, I assisted Justice Gorki in analyzing the cases which came before the panels on which he was a member.
In 2006, I was appointed as a Village Justice in the Village of Kenmore by the Village Board. Our Village court is onhe of the busiest local courts in the state.
I have served as President of the Women Lawyers of Western New York, an officer of the Western New York Trial Lawyers and as a Director for the Bar Association of Erie County and “Lawyers for Learning”. I currently serve as Co-Chair of the Board of Management of YMCA's Camp Weona and was named their “VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR” in 2007. In 2008, I was rated “OUTSTANDING” by the Erie County Bar Association.
