Personal Statement |
- Full time trial court Judge for more than 23 years. Troy City Court Judge 1985-1993. Rensselaer County Court Judge 1994-present. Acting Supreme Court Justice 2006-present. First judge in NY to uphold Busters Law punishing tthose who abuse helpless animals. First judge in upstate NY to establish a Drug Treatment Court for non-violent felony offenders in 1997. First and only judge in Rensselaer County to preside over a double jury murder trial. Active in my community. Board of Directors Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club and Spring Little League. Little league coach 17 years. CYO basketball and Troy pop warner coach.
