Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- For the past 38 years, I have been an advocate for public service and equal justice for all. As a former prosecutor of the Queens County District Attorney's Office, I was Chief of the Major Offense Bureau, Criminal Court Bureau and Deputy Chief of the Supreme Court. My entrance into the private sector enabled me to represent clients from all walks of life in very distinct areas of law. As a general practitioner, I have represented hundreds of individuals involving real estate, personal injuries, matrimonials, commercial transactions, medical malpractice and criminal defense. I have tried more than 450 jury trials to verdict as a prosecutor, criminal and civil defense attorney and plaintiff's attorney. Given my experience, I truly feel that I am well qualified to serve as Justice of the Supreme Court and shall treat all of those before me with the utmost respect. My career could not have been as successful or fulfilling if not for the love and devotion from my wife of 38 years and our 3 children.
