Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- As a member of the New York State Bar since 1989, I have had the benefit of years of representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation on a broad spectrum of issues. From the start of my career, I have been committed to serving the public. In the last ten years, I have volunteered my time to serve as an arbitrator for the Civil Court in Queens County. I have also served as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York City Department of Finance and I presently serve as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York State Division of Parole. As both a civil litigator and adjudicator, I have had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and to study human nature first hand. In adjudicating cases, I am committed to insuring that all parties who come before me leave my courtroom knowing that regardless of the outcome, they were afforded a full opportunity to be heard, were treated with respect and that the law together with the basis of my decision were fully explained to them. I am married and have lived with my wife and four children in Queens County for some eighteen years.
