Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- For nearly 30 years, I have practiced in courts of all trial level jurisdictions. I zealously represented the People of the State of New York as a former prosecutor, and thereafter, individual defendants accused of everything from traffic violations to homicides. I have also had the opportunity to represent both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases for over 25 years, involving personal injury, medical malpractice and commercial matters.
I have always endeavored to treat my clients with compassion, my adversaries with respect, and the courts with deference to the difficult decisions that they are called upon to make. If elected to Supreme Court, I would strive to continue the tradition established by other judges and justices in upstate New York of providing dignified and impartial forums for the administration of justice to everyone that petitions for relief.
