Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- My name is Peter Alexander Tulin and I am seeking election to the position of Supreme Court Justice in the Fourth Judicial District. I received the nomination of the Democratic Party at their Judicial Convention held on September 22, 2007 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
I am 57 years old and I have practiced law in Saratoga Springs for over 30 years. I have been privileged to have served as Attorney for the Office for the Aging, Acting City Court Judge and as Attorney for the City of Saratoga Springs. I have extensive experience in local Courts, County Court, Surrogate's Court, Family Court and Supreme Court including the Appellate Division.
I seek this position because I have the experience, energy and desire to serve. All current Justices in this Department are enrolled in one political party. I am not enrolled in that party. Justice requires a degree of balance. I could write more, but I would not say more.
