Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- For over 21 years, I served as Principal Law Clerk to the late Hon. Vincent G. Bradley, Ulster County Supreme Court. On June 4, 2007, following a highly competitive screening process, Governor Spitzer nominated me to fill the vacancy created by Justice Bradley's passing. On June 19, 2007, my nomination was unanimously confirmed by the New York State Senate and since then I have been serving as the only resident trial-level Supreme Court Justice in Ulster County. I pledge to all the voters of the Third Judicial District that I will do everything in my power to be the best Supreme Court Justice I can be in terms of temperament, fairness, competence and efficiency.
I am a past President and Secretary of the Ulster County Bar Association and a past member of the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates. My wife, Kimberlee, and I reside in the Town of Ulster and are the proud parents of son Rian, a college senior, and son Andrew who is a senior at Kingston High School. Over the years I have been very active in community activities, having served as a youth soccer coach and as a coach and manager in Little League baseball.
