Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- My experience within the judicial system, and as a private practitioner, together with my strong business background gleaned from having worked in a large Corporation in a leadership/management position, and previously owning a small business, gives me a uniquely diverse legal and professional background. I am a full time working parent who understands the current issues families and hard working citizens face today in balancing career and family. I am an active community contributor, serving on the Board of a local Hospital and Chair of the Committee that oversees quality of care provided to patients. I serve many other organizations (United Way, Safe Homes, Warwick Little League, Leadership Orange, NYS Autism Advisory Board, and the Women’s Bar Association) in leadership and volunteer roles. I hope to continue to serve the community in Supreme Court by providing each person who comes before the Court, the respect, time and attention to which they are entitled. The Independent Judicial Election Qualifications Committee and the Westchester Bar Association rated me “Qualified” to serve as Supreme Court Justice, and I am able to serve the full 14-year term as Supreme Court Justice.
