PLEASE BE AWARE: The New York State Court System does not ask prospective jurors for financial information such as credit card, bank account, and social security numbers or personal information such as the names and ages of your family members. COUNTY COURT “TRIAL” JURORS
Please report Monday, March 10th no later than 1:00 p.m. to the 2nd floor of the Chemung County Courthouse, located at 224 Lake Street, Elmira. This building is not accessible to the public before 1:00 p.m. Food and beverages are not allowed in the courtroom with the exception of unopened bottled water unless it is a medical necessity.
Please complete PART A of your summons and bring the entire form with you.
Parking is available on the 3rd floor of the Eastowne Parking Garage located on Baldwin Street at the daily rate of $2.00 per day.
SUPREME COURT JURORS
All Supreme Court jurors summoned to be available on Monday,
March 10th, are now dismissed and are instructed not to report. You will receive 6 years credit for jury service. If you have any questions, you may contact our office.

All trial jurors are on standby and report only when instructed to do so by means of a recorded message. Please report promptly at the time indicated in the message. The telephone call-in number is: (607)873-9555.
Parking is available on the 3rd floor of the Eastowne Parking Garage located on Baldwin Street at the rate of $2.00 per day. Metered parking is also available on the streets around the courthouse. Do not park in handicapped (blue meters) or restricted zones unless you have a permit to do so.
If an illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at (607) 873-9449 at 9:00 a.m. on the day you are to report. For weather emergencies, listen to your local radio stations, WLEZ (92.7 FM), WLVY (94.7 FM), WINK (106.1 FM), WPGI(100.9 FM).
Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.
Magnetometers are in place in the courthouse and jurors are not exempted from the screening process. Weapons or dangerous instruments of any kind are prohibited in court buildings. Your cooperation and patience is appreciated in this effort to keep our facilities safe.
There are restaurants and fast food establishments within a two or three block radius. You are free to bring your own lunch. No food or drink is allowed in the courtrooms.
Verification of Attendance:
An attendance verification form is available to all jurors and is required by most employers for payroll records. Please obtain the form from the Court Clerk or Commissioner of Jurors.
