Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I was born and raised in Ballston Spa, N.Y. I attended Ballston Spa High School, Siena College and Albany Law School. I have spent the majority of my legal career in public service in Saratoga County. I have served as a Town Attorney to several local municipalities, an Assistant District Attorney, Saratoga County Family Court Judge for fourteen years and as a New York State Supreme Court Justice for fourteen years. I also worked in private practice for fourteen years as a general practitioner serving my community. Educating the community about the law is important to me. I have lectured at Schenectady County Community College, Siena College, University of Albany, College of Saint Rose, Albany Law School and several local high schools and bar associations. I have enjoyed being a Siena Saints fan since my college days and continue to support the program. I also enjoyed coaching Saratoga Central Catholic Girls Varsity Basketball for many years. I love my job and have been privileged to serve. I seek your support to continue to serve as your Supreme Court Justice.
