Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • Serving in judicial office is an honor, a privilege and a public trust that is exceeded by no other form of public service. My more than 33 years experience as a judicial educator and as a member of and Special Counsel to the New York State Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics advising, guiding and training New York State Judges statewide has inspired me to seek election as a Family Court Judge. My years of experience as a Yonkers City Judge and Judicial Hearing Officer/Special Referee in Supreme Court presiding over trials addressing Child Custody, Visitation, Child Support, Relocation, Grandparent Custody, Domestic Violence and other divorce and family issues convincingly recommends my election to the Family Court. My highest priority will be the ethical and impartial performance of the adjudicative duties of the office. I have been rated as Well-Qualified for election to Family Court by the Westchester County Bar Association Judiciary Committee. My candidacy has been endorsed by the Yonkers Police Benevolent Association, the Westchester/Putnam Central Labor Body, AFL-CIO and other organizations.
