Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • As a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney I have had the honor and privilege to serve this community for the past 27 years. I am the most experienced trial prosecutor in Monroe County. I have been responsible for the prosecution of 10,000 felony criminal cases in our County Court. I am the only County Court candidate rated highly qualified by the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys, and was commended for my work protecting women and children as Monroe County Domestic Violence Bureau Chief. The Judges of the Monroe County Court preside over only the most serious felony criminal cases. The integrity of the criminal justice system and the wellbeing of our community depend on having highly qualified judges who know felony criminal law and how to apply it practically, logically and fairly. I have dedicated my professional life to this specific set of laws. County Court is where I practice law and where I have represented you for the past quarter century. I make decisions every day that affect people’s lives. I strive to do justice with each decision and in every case. Let me continue my work in County Court. Thank you for your support.
