Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I have always been someone who cares deeply about the law, my family and my community. By serving as a Principal Law Clerk in Nassau County Supreme Court, and practicing as a litigator in all courts of the State of New York, I am uniquely well qualified to continue my public service as a Supreme Court Justice. After graduating from St. John’s University School of Law in 1988, I practiced in both the public and private sector where I gained broad civil litigation experience. A lifelong resident of Long Island, I am an active member of my community. I am a Trustee of the Bayville Free Library, a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, and the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County. My husband and I have always believed in hard work and public service. These values are now being passed on to our two teenage daughters. I was found "well qualified" by the Nassau County Bar Association and have been nominated by the Democratic, Independence and Working Families parties. The Superior Officer's Association, the Police Benevolent Association and the Court Officers Benevolent Association of Nassau County have endorsed my candidacy.
