Personal Statement
  • I have practiced law for over 14 years and have exceptional experience in civil and criminal law. As a Prosecutor for over 6 years I handled serious felonies with a tremendous record of success. For the past 8 years I have handled Federal and State actions on behalf of US Navy Veterans, Plumbers, Builders, Union members, and others who developed mesothelioma or lung cancer from asbestos. I was appointed unanimously as a Commissioner with the Nassau Human Rights Commission. I am a legal analyst for CNN Headline News, Court TV and Fox News handling high profile cases across the country. I have the experience, the passion, and the temperment to serve and intend to dispense justice fairly and expeditiously without favor or prejudice. I am proud that I have the endorsements of the Nassau County PBA, NYPD Captains Endowment Assoc., NYS FOP, Nassau Women's Democratic Caucus, Nassau County Detectives' Assoc. Inc., NYS Troopers PBA, Court Officers' Benev. Assoc. of NC, the Building & Construction Trades Council of Nassau / Suffolk Counties, and the Long Beach CSEA. I am married, have two daughters, am of Greek & Puerto Rican heritage and fluent in Greek and Spanish.
