Personal Statement
  • Vincent J. Martorana, is running on the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party lines. He was found qualified by the Suffolk County Bar Assoc. and has the endorsement of Suffolk County PBA, Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs PBA, Suffolk County Correction Officers, Suffolk County Probation Officers, NYS Court Clerks, NYS Court Officers & Suffolk County Assoc. of Municipal Employees, the largest union in Suffolk County. As a member of the Suffolk County Bar Assoc., he serves on numerous committees, including the Ethics & Grievance Committees. He has more than 30 years of legal experience. After years employed at various blue collar positions, during which he attended Queens College (BA) & St. John’s Law School (JD) at night, he became a Uniformed Court Officer. After completing Law School, he served as Law Secretary to Hon. Frank Gannon in NYC. He has served on the Suffolk County Bi-Partisan Reapportionment Committee, the NYS Dept of Public Service – Electric Generation Citing & Environment Board and is certified by the App. Div. 2nd Dept to mediate attorney/client grievances. He is a long standing member of the Brookhaven Community, a proud father and grandfather.
