Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • Practicing attorney for over 33 years: over 3 years service as a Judicial Law Clerk to a NYS Supreme Court Justice and 30 years in private practice. In private practice, I have represented clients on all manner of civil cases before practically all levels of N. Y. State’s Courts and the Federal District Courts in upstate New York. I have seen the practice of law from both sides of the judicial rail. I believe my 33 years of legal practice have given me the experience necessary to be a good judge. I possess the proper “judicial temperament” so vital to a judge. I have always treated those with whom I have dealt, with respect and dignity and believe that all individuals coming before the Court should be treated fairly, equally and justly. I have been active in my community serving on boards of academia, my church and local high schools. I have been married for 36 years to my wife, Katherine, and we have three daughters. I have been endorsed by the Onondaga County Veterans Party, the Syracuse Police Benevolent Association, the Greater Syracuse Labor Council, Communication Workers of America Local 1123, Sheet Metal Workers Local 58 and the United Auto Workers Local 624.
