  • 2010 - Present ACTING JUSTICE - NEW YORK STATE SUPREME COURT As a designated Full Time Acting Supreme Court Judge I preside over the District Wide Article 81 Guardianship Part where I supervise over 3,000 ongoing guardianship matters arising in Westchester, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange and Putnam Counties preserving and protecting the personal and property rights of people suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Autism.

  • 2006-2009 ACTING JUSTICE - NEW YORK STATE SUPREME COURT As a designated Full Time Acting Supreme Court Justice I preside over significant felony criminal and civil jury trials while managing a civil case inventory of approximately 400 active cases. I also serve as Acting Surrogate for Estate and Trust matters from Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties.
  • 2003-2006 JUDGE - WESTCHESTER COUNTY COURT Preside over felony criminal and civil jury and non-jury trials while managing a felony criminal case inventory of approximately 80 active cases. I also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice assigned to Rockland and Orange counties.
  • 2000-2003 PRINCIPAL COURT ATTORNEY WESTCHESTER COUNTY SURROGATE COURT Supervise all major case litigation assigned to a five attorney law department, conduct all pre-trial/settlement conferences, draft judicial decisions, and provide confidential legal advice to the Surrogate.
  • 1994-1999 PRINCIPAL LAW CLERK TO JUDGE N.Y.S. SUPREME COURT, 9TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT As the Principal Law Clerk to the Hon. Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr., I provided confidential legal advice to the Judge, conducted preliminary and compliance conferences, drafted judicial decisions, and conducted charge conferences for jury trials. During this time we were assigned to Westchester and Rockland Counties, and also served in the specialized Matrimonial Part as well as a general civil trial Part.
