Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I am a native of Delaware County where my wife, Lori, and I have raised our family, where I've practiced law for 25 years and have served 20 years as Judge in Middletown Town Court. My years of experience in the areas of criminal, family and surrogate's law make me uniquely qualified to be Delaware County Judge. Being a good judge requires more than just experience, however. It requires an even temperament, integrity, patience and a desire to see justice done. As a judge I strive for an even temperament, patience and respect for those before me. I strive to be fair. A good judge must consider and appreciated human emotions as well as consider the facts and analyze the law. It's a judge's job to make sure everyone is treated fairly. Justice requires doing that wheich is fair, regardless of public opinion, politics or the parties involved. Justice demands a judge be blind to political influence. There is no room for favoritism or cronyism. All are equal in the eyes of the law and it is the judge's job to ensure that. That is what I will bring to Delaware County Court.
