Personal Statement
  • I was born in the Clinton Hill Community of Kings County and currently reside in the Bedford Stuyvesant Community. After graduating from high school, I began to pursue a career of service to my country and community. Joining the US Navy in 1984, I served with distinction until honorably discharged in 1997. During my service, I served in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. While in the Navy, I obtained both an A.S and B.A. degree in Legal Studies, and, upon discharge, a Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. For the past 8 years, I have been employed in the Kings County Supreme Court and am currently a Principal Court Attorney, analyzing legal issues, drafting decisions and supervising courtroom support staff. I have the integrity, qualifications and experience to become a Civil Court Judge and am committed to serving the residents of Kings County. Rated "Exceptionally Well Qualified", by the Joint Bar Screening Panel.
