Personal Statement
  • Since 2006 I have been the Supervising Judge of the Nassau County District Court. I am an elected County Court Judge and an Acting Supreme Court Justice. during my tenure as Supervising Judge we have created a Mental Health Court, a Veterans part as well as an Adolesecent Diversion Part which is one of seven pilots across the State. I serve on a number of Boards including the St. Joseph's Hospital, the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation and the Wantagh/Seaford PAL. I have been honored by the Fraternal Order of Court Officers, the Criminal Courts Bar Association and the Court Officers Benevolent Association of Nassau County. I have been endorsed by the Nassau and Suffolk County PBA's, as well as the Superior Officers and Detectives Unions. I have also been endorsed by the Unions and Fraternal organizations representing the employees of all the Courts in Nassau and Suffolk. I have been screened by the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and have received their highest rating "Well Qualified".
