Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I have invaluable judicial experience adjudicating contested and uncontested matrimonial cases as a special referee. I am an adjunct professor teaching law courses in the Paralegal Department at Bronx Community College. In addition, I am the President of the Thurgood Marshall Junior Mock Trial Program, a program which is committed to helping students realize their academic potential. I am committed to the youth of our community and have been a part of the program since its inception, 16 years ago. My credentials and legal experience have been reviewed and approved by the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, The Bronx Bar Association, and LeGal. I was endorsed by the New York Times and the Daily News after extensive interviews. The New York Times concluded I had a good judicial demeanor and experience helping litigants who represent themselves in court, making me the clear choice for judge of the civil court. I have been a litigator, adjudicator, and an educator. My experience has uniquely prepared me to serve as Judge of the Civil Court.
