Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I have been a Principal Law Secretary for Justices to the Supreme Court for the past 20 years. During this time, I have prepared thousands of draft decisions that involved Criminal Law and Procedure and Civil Law and Procedure I have also been involved with hundreds of trials and discovery and settlement conferences relating to these cases. Prior to my work with the Justices, I worked in the Queens District Attorney's Office's Appeals Bureau where I wrote many appellate briefs and argued those cases in front of New York State and Federal Appellate Courts. During my professional career, I have been active in community affairs and have served on the Community Education Council of District 26 for eleven years, ten as President, the Community Board 11, and the Deepdale Blood Drive. My family resides has resided in Little Neck for eleven years and my children attend public schools. I believe my background will enable me to be fair on just as a judge, who treats every case with the respect the parties and their lawyers expect. I will also learn the facts of each case before me and apply the appropriate law.
