Personal Statement
  • I have been a resident of Great Neck for over 36 years, am married for over 40 years and have three married children and three grandchildren. I have have had a corporate/commerical and litigation practice for over 41 years, the past 32 years at major international law firms and am an approved Mediator for the Unted States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and an approved Special Mediator for the Departmental Disciplinary Committee for the First Judicial Department (New York and Bronx Counties). My bar association activies include formerly serving as Chairman of the Committee on Professional Discipline of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York. I was selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Thompson Reuters in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012 and have been rated "Well Qualified" by the Nassau County Bar Association. I am looking for a new intellectual challenge and, with over 41 years in private practice at to tier law firms and with extensive experience as an impartial mediator, I am highly qualified to serve as a District Court Judge.
