Personal Statement
  • I am presently the Supervising Judge of the Nassau County District Court responsible for the scheduling of all 26 judges and overseeing the operation of a Court that is open 365 days per year. I have been an Acting County Court Judge since 2005 having presided over the Domestic Violence Felony Part in 2006. I have been found "Well Qualified" by the Nasau County Bar Association on four separate occasions. Presently, I serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the New Island Hospital, an Executive Board member fo the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation and the President of the Wantagh/Seaford PAL Lacrosse Board. I have been honored by the Fraternal Order of Court Officers-2001, the Court Officers Benevolent Association of Nassau County-2002 , the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association and the Nassau County Police Emerald Society both in 2007. My candidacy has been endorsed by all major political parties as well as the Nassau County Police Superior Officers Association, N.C. Detectives Association, N.C. Sheriffs Officers Association, Courts Officers Benevolent Assoc. of Nassau County, N.C. P.B.A. and the Civil Service Employees Association.
