Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I have been honored to serve the citizens of Nassau County in the District Court since May 2001. I am currently assigned to a criminal calendar where I preside over bench and jury trials, pleas, hearings, and sentencings. I started my career as an Assisant District Attorney in Brooklyn, prosecuting various types of criminal cases. Thereafter, I worked in private practice, also appearing as a commentator on "Court TV". As an active member of the community, I currently serve as a member of the board of directors of the Great Neck Arts Center, and I am a member of the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. I believe that I have earned respect from my colleagues in the bar and on the bench for being fair, intellectually honest, and knowledgeable. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve as Judge of the District Court of Nassau County.
