Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • In the past 32 years I have served as a prosecutor, and later as a judge in Geneva City. In addition, I have a full time private law practice including defense attorney in neighboring courts. In each role I have done my best to ensure a just and timely disposition. I promise to continue my efforts to conduct Court proceedings in a fair and consistent manner, to give everyone an equal opportunity to be heard, while protecting the rights of each side. The Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission in the 7th Judicial District determined I am qualified for election to this position. I have completed the mandated campaign ethics training program. In my community, I have served and been President of the Library, YMCA and Catholic Charities Boards of Directors. I believe in the dignity and value of hard work. My father was a dry cleaner who worked six days a week, my mother a registered nurse. Their lessons plus my own experiences guide me in being fair, diligent and impartial. I am committed to Geneva and look forward to continuing to do my part to keep our neighborhoods safe and an optimal place to live.
