Personal Statement
  • In January 2007, I was appointed the Principal Law Clerk for Supreme Court Justice, Randy Sue Marber. My duties include drafting decisions, conferencing cases with attorneys and litigants who are not represented. I also manage the Court's calendar. This position has provided me with invaluable experience to prepare me for a judgeship. I was in private practice for more than 24 years and had a general practice which included criminal law, landlord/tenant and civil litigation. I am a member of the NYS and Nassau County Bar Associations and have been found "Well Qualified" by the Nassau County Bar Association and "Qualified" by the Independent Judicial Qualification Commission. I was elected to the Jericho Schools Board of Education in 2004. I am the President of the Oakwood Princeton Park Civic Association, founder and President of the United Civic Associations of North Oyster Bay, founder of the non-profit environmental group Society to Preserve Underhill, founder of the Long Island Drinking Water Coalition, and past chairperson of the Long Island Environmental Voters Forum. I have lived in Jericho since 1983. I am married and have two daughters ages 17 and 14.
