Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I believe that every litigant deserves an independent, fair, knowledgable and genuinely concerned judge to hear their case. Participants in the legal system should expect to be treated courteously and fairly by a competent and even tempered judge. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Queens County as a Supeme Court Justice and I would treat the opportunity as such. As a practicing trial attorney for more than twenty-two years, I have been found "well qualified," "qualified" and "approved" to hold judicial office by the various bar associations. I am a product of the public schools of Queens County and attended college and law school in the county. I am married with three children. For the past six years I have had the pleasure of serving as chapter President of the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the nation's third largest voluntary health organization. I also serve as chapter President of the American Hellenic Educational & Progressive Association (AHEPA). I am extremely proud of that charitable work.
