Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • This year, voters in Niagara Falls will elect a fourth judge to serve in Niagara Falls City Court. I am a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. In private practice with the firm of Hovey & Massaro, I serve as a mental hygiene law guardian to incapacitated adults in the community, have prepared and argued criminal appeals in the Appellate Division as assigned counsel and am assistant general counsel to Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara. As the assistant attorney/designated hearing officer for the Niagara Falls School District, I have conducted over 2,000 superintendent hearings. I am also responsible for the continuing implementation of the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education law. Since 1999, I have served as an attorney mentor for the Niagara Falls Youth Court. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Niagara Police Athletic League and the Board of Trustees for Niagara Catholic High School. I am seeking the opportunity to continue my commitment to our community and dedicate my effort to addressing the legal needs of all of the citizens of Niagara Falls as the fourth City Court Judge.
