Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • I've been a prosecutor in Monroe County for over 15 years. I'm the only City court candidate who has been endorsed by the Rochester Police Locust Club, the union for the patrol officers. I've worked with victims, neighborhood associations and the police to understand the problems faced everyday by people living in our city neighborhoods. 95% of the people living in our city neighborhoods are good, hardworking people. I've been to enough murder scenes to know the consequences of not getting through to teenagers before it's too late. We have to work together as a community to try and turn troubled teenagers down the right path so that they have a future and turn away from gangs and violence. As a prosecutor, for the past 15 years I have made decisions regarding the disposition of thousands defendants on a case by case basis. In making those decisions I have balanced the needs of the defendants with justice for the victims and quality of life for people living in our neighborhoods. I would use that experience to assist me on the bench if elected City Court Judge.
