Personal Statement
  • I was Appointed District Court Judge by unanimous bi-partisan vote of the Suffolk County Legislature 2000. I was Elected District Court Judge Sixth District 2001. I have presided over Felony Arraignments, including Murder, Drug Sales, Sexual Abuse, Driving While Intoxicated, etc. Have presided over thousands of Misdemeanor proceedings from Arraignment through Trial, including Sexual Abuse, Driving While Intoxicated, Gang Related Crimes, Assault, as well as all other Misdemeanors. In addition to having been found qualified by New York States Judicial Election Qualification Commission, I have been found qualified by the Suffolk County Bar Association, Judicial Screening Committee, for the positions of District Court, Family Court, County Court, and Supreme Court. The Fund for Modern Courts, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the administration of justice in New York State in the 2007 Report on Suffolk County District Court , found me to be, "Courteous, Professional, and that [I] maintained control of the courtroom." Additionally, they found that I, "had and excellent demeanor."

Additionally, they prosecute, support and support enforcement proceedings as well as juvenile delinquncy proceedings.
