Candidate Biography
Personal Statement
  • The Family Court is dear to my heart. It is a place where the Court meets children, parents, grandparents, siblings and other family members (through blood or affinity) in an intimate way and often at their most vulnerable. The issues that come before the Court should be handled by her with compassion and respect and resolved in the best interest of the children and all those involved. My qualifications and experience are well suited for the position of Family Court Judge and are consistent with my goal of a career within the judiciary. I have been in public service the majority of my legal career and will bring to the bench my years of combined experience as a Support Magistrate in the Westchester County Family Court, as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and in private practice as a practicing attorney before local, county, Supreme and Family Courts in Westchester County and metropolitan New York. Thank you for considering my candidacy for Family Court Judge. I hope I have earned your support and seek your vote on Tuesday, November 6, 2007.
